United Abrasives is Hiring a Territory Sales Representative (FT) Near Tacoma, WA

Sales Representative 
As a leading US manufacturer of industrial-grade products, United Abrasives, Inc. is seeking a driven, growth-focused sales representative to join our team. The individual will manage all sales and business development activities within the region (Oregon, Washington, part of Idaho, and Alaska) while being given the tools and comprehensive training at our facility to become a successful team member and specialist in our industry.
Don’t wait to join a world-class manufacturing company. This position allows you to listen to your customers, problem-solve, and develop business relationships while expanding your earning potential.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive end-user sales through multiple distribution channels. 
  • Uncover new sales opportunities and convert them into customers.
  • Demonstrate products to end users emphasizing the financial impact of improved performance, safety, and quality. 
  • Manage and consistently update sales leads to track progress.
  • Effective management of end-users and distributors with high quality follow through ensuring territory growth objectives are achieved.
  • Travel approximately 50% of the time. (access to transportation and a valid driver’s license required)
Education and Experience:
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of sales experience in an industrial setting.
  • Up-to-date knowledge on industrial distribution practices and trends.
  • Knowledge of welding, metal fabricating, woodworking and power tools helpful. 
  • Military background is a plus.
